GrocerySync does not maintain its own user accounts or servers. Your account in GrocerySync is your Google account, used solely to sync your shopping lists to your own private Google Drive storage. All of your data is stored in a hidden app folder inside your personal Google Drive and is never transmitted to or stored by the GrocerySync developer.
Follow these steps to fully remove GrocerySync's access and all associated data:
Open GrocerySync on your device.
Tap the Settings gear icon (top-right of the home screen).
Under Google Drive Sync, tap Sign Out.
On a browser, go to drive.google.com and sign in.
Click the Settings gear (top-right) → Settings.
Select Manage apps from the left sidebar.
Find GrocerySync in the list.
Click Options → Delete hidden app data.
Confirm the deletion.
Find GrocerySync and click it.
Click Remove Access.
Uninstall GrocerySync from your device. Any locally cached data (stored only on your device) will be removed when the app is uninstalled.
What is deleted: All shopping lists, items, categories, and settings stored in your Google Drive app folder are permanently deleted in Step 2. No data is retained by GrocerySync after these steps.
What is not deleted: Your Google account itself is not affected. Only GrocerySync's hidden app-folder data is removed.
